How I got here

I started out not knowing a single thing about lifting, and ten plus years later I'm moving real weight for real reps, but I got there the slow way, not the impressive way. I bulked wrong more than once, cut wrong more than once, and followed programs that were never built for my actual life, which meant I spent way more time than I should have chasing things that looked good on paper and did nothing for me in practice. Somewhere in the middle of all that trial and error I got NASM certified and started coaching other people through the same process, minus the years I spent figuring it out on my own.

Running taught me the same lesson from a completely different angle. I've finished four ultramarathons, and not one of them started as an ultramarathon. On one training block I started with 5 mile runs and built all the way up to 20 to 25 mile long runs, with as much as 6 hours on my feet, and that whole build happened over about 3 to 4 months of just showing up day after day. Nothing about that was fast, and nothing about it happened by accident either.

I also went through knee surgery a while back, and coming back from it stronger than I was before taught me something I still lean on when I coach, which is that a setback only ends the story if you decide to let it. I'm still training hard today and still adjusting things as I learn more about my own body, so when I ask you to trust the process, I'm asking you to trust something I'm actually still living through myself, not something I figured out years ago and now just talk about.

"A setback only ends the story if you decide to let it."

How I coach

I don't lead with discipline, because discipline alone rarely holds up once life gets busy or stressful or just plain inconvenient. I lead with habits and choices instead, since those are the things that actually stick when motivation runs out. I didn't have perfect genetics or a wide open schedule to build any of this, and I'm guessing you don't either, so I built what I have inside a normal, full, sometimes chaotic life instead of waiting for some easier version of life to start it in. That's the whole model I coach from.

By day I work in corporate finance, which means I spend most of my time thinking in systems whether I mean to or not, and you get that same brain applied to your training and your food. In practice that looks like a real plan that gets adjusted as you go, built around how you actually live day to day, instead of a generic template that gets handed to everyone who signs up.

The long way

I didn't start here either.

Client results

Real people. Real progress.

★★★★★

"What stood out most was how detailed the coaching was. Every adjustment had a reason behind it, he was always quick to listen to what I liked and what I didn't and make adjustments accordingly. After a few weeks progress stopped feeling random and started becoming measurable week by week. I saw noticeable changes not just in physique, but in strength, consistency, and confidence. The biggest difference was accountability. Having someone who actually understands how to push you while also knowing when to pull back."
